<p><b>Aegypiinae</b> is one of two subfamilies of <a href="page.php?w=Accipitridae">Accipitridae</a> that are referred to as <a href="page.php?w=Old_World_vultures">Old World vultures</a>, the other being the <a href="page.php?w=Gypaetinae">Gypaetinae</a>. They are not closely related to the Gypaetinae, and are instead a <a href="page.php?w=sister_group">sister group</a> to the <a href="page.php?w=Circaetinae">serpent-eagles</a> (Circaetinae).</p>
