This mineral was once classified as part of <a href="page.php?w=cryptohalite">cryptohalite</a>. Bararite is named after the place where it was first described, Barari in Jharia Coal Field, <a href="page.php?w=Dhanbad">Dhanbad</a>, <a href="page.php?w=India">India</a>.</p><p>
