<p>The <b>CDC 1604</b> is a <a href="page.php?w=48-bit_computing">48-bit</a> computer designed and manufactured by <a href="page.php?w=Seymour_Cray">Seymour Cray</a> and his team at the <a href="page.php?w=Control_Data_Corporation">Control Data Corporation</a> (CDC).  The 1604 is known as one of the first commercially successful <a href="page.php?w=transistor_computer">transistorized computers</a>.
