<p><b>Congregationalism</b> (also <b>Congregational Churches</b> or <b>Congregationalist Churches</b>) is a  <a href="page.php?w=Reformed_Christianity">Reformed Christian (Calvinist)</a> tradition of Protestant Christianity in which churches practise <a href="page.php?w=Congregationalist_polity">congregational government</a>. Each <a href="page.php?w=Wiktionary%3Acongregation">congregation</a> independently and autonomously runs its own affairs.
