<p>A <b>double act</b> (also known as a <b>comedy duo</b>) is a form of comedy originating in the English <a href="page.php?w=music_hall">music hall</a> tradition, and American <a href="page.php?w=vaudeville">vaudeville</a>, in which two comedians perform together as a single act, often highlighting differences in their characters' personalities.
