A gonophore is a reproductive organ in members of the Hydrozoa (specifically Hydroidolina) which produces gametes. It is a sporosac, a medusa or any intermediate stage. The name is derived from the Greek words ????? (gónos, "that which produces seed") and -????? (-fóros, "-bearing").
