The Kuwait National Guard (KNG) is a paramilitary and gendarmerie branch of the Kuwait Armed Forces. The National Guard is an independent combat institution and traces its heritage directly to the cavalrymen and infantrymen that defended Kuwait's three mounted defensive walls.
