<p><b>Sir Peter Neville Luard Pears</b> ( ; 22 June 19103 April 1986) was an English <a href="page.php?w=tenor">tenor</a>. His career was closely associated with the composer <a href="page.php?w=Benjamin_Britten">Benjamin Britten</a>, his personal and professional partner for nearly forty years.</p>
