Rabbi Yishmael ben Elisha Nachmani (Hebrew: ??? ?????? ?? ?????), often known as Rabbi Yishmael and sometimes given the title "Ba'al HaBaraita" (Hebrew: ??? ???????, "Master of the Outside Teaching"), was a rabbi of the 1st and 2nd centuries (third generation of tannaim) CE.
