"Warpipes" is originally an English term. The first use of the <a href="page.php?w=Goidelic_languages">Gaelic</a> term in Ireland was recorded in a poem by <a href="page.php?w=Se%C3%A1n_%C3%93_Neachtain_%28poet%29">Seán Ó Neachtain</a> , in which the bagpipes are referred to as <i>píb mhór</i>.</p>
