<p>The <b>pica</b> is a  <a href="page.php?w=typographic_unit">typographic unit</a> of measure that has varied in size historically and by jurisdiction. The modern <a href="page.php?w=de_facto">de facto</a> standard size is exactly 1/6 of an <a href="page.php?w=inch">inch</a> or about 4.23 <a href="page.php?w=millimetre">millimetre</a>s. One pica is further divided into 12 <a href="page.php?w=Point_%28typography%29">point</a>s.</p>
