<p><b>Sunsi</b>  is a Chinese food product made from <a href="page.php?w=Bamboo_shoot">bamboo shoots</a> that have undergone <a href="page.php?w=lactic_acid_fermentation">lactic acid fermentation</a>. An alternative name for sunsi is <b>sungan</b> , although sungan may also refer to dried bamboo shoots that have not been fermented. </p>
