<p>a <a href="page.php?w=tetraploid">tetraploid</a> group largely restricted to southern Africa is very close to <a href="page.php?w=Pseudobarbus">Pseudobarbus</a> and might even be included therein. In particular, the group called "redfins" may well be <a href="page.php?w=monophyletic">monophyletic</a> and belong in Pseudobarbus entirely, instead of being split between Pseudobarbus and Barbus.</p>
