a start towards a new 'Past ecosystems of Oxfordshire' display. Phase 2, in 2020, installed 10 new double-sided glass cabinets with pitched glass 'roofs', to show 20 new displays illustrating 'Biodiversity, Evolution and Earth'. A further 16 displays were added in 2024 as phase three, looking at 'Biodiversity; How evolution works' and 'Present-day ecosystems'. Phase four will complete the re-display with 6 more glass cases, featuring 11 new displays 'telling the story of the intricate relationships between planet and life'.

The building
