As early as 1934 or 1935 <a href="page.php?w=Bob_Dunn_%28musician%29">Bob Dunn</a> electrified a Martin O-series acoustic guitar while playing with Milton Brown's Brownies, an idea he may have picked up from a Black guitarist he met while working at <a href="page.php?w=Coney_Island">Coney Island</a> in New York.</p>
