<p>One theory associates the popularity of the nickname to the visit from future president of the <a href="page.php?w=Republic_of_Ireland">Republic of Ireland</a> <a href="page.php?w=%C3%89amon_de_Valera">Éamon de Valera</a>, who had been part of the 1916 <a href="page.php?w=Easter_Rising">Easter Rising</a></p><p>
