<p>The three conditions specific to the therapist/counselor came to be called the core conditions of PCT: therapist congruence, <a href="page.php?w=unconditional_positive_regard">unconditional positive regard</a> or acceptance, and accurate empathic understanding. There is a large body of publications of empirical research on these conditions.</p>
