<p>Assuming all of them describe the same scene, ie. share the same <a href="page.php?w=referent">referent</a>, it is clear that each one is emphasizing a different aspect of it. In 2a there is an AGENT, the pilot, and a PATIENT, the race car. This is active profiling since the entire action is being brought to attention. In contrast, 2b is passive profiling</p><p>
