Lucaites</a>, a prominent author on the subject, concluded both <a href="page.php?w=legal_studies">legal studies</a> and rhetorical scholars desire to demystify complex law discourse.  His task was to "explore how 'the law'--conceptualized as a series of institutional procedures and relationships--functions within a larger 'rhetorical culture'."</p>
