At multi-lane roundabouts, safety for cyclists is compromised. The installation of separated cycle tracks has been shown to improve safety at roundabouts. A Cochrane review of published evidence found that there was limited evidence to conclude whether cycling infrastructure improves cyclist safety. </p>
