As a historical restructuring at the <a href="page.php?w=Phoneme">phonemic level</a>, word-internal long consonants degeminated in <a href="page.php?w=Western_Romance">Western Romance</a> languages: e.g. Spanish /'boka/ 'mouth'</p><p>
