Europe

In Europe, kudzu has been included on the list of Invasive Alien Species of Union concern (the Union list) since 2016. This means that this species cannot be imported, cultivated, transported, commercialized, planted, or intentionally released into the environment anywhere in the European Union.

There are only some kudzu populations in certain regions of Italy and Switzerland.
