<p><big> Negation </big></p>
<p>In order to <a href="page.php?w=negation_%28grammar%29">negate</a> a phrase or clause in Fijian, certain verbs are used to create this distinction. These verbs of negation are known as semi-auxiliary verbs. Semi-auxiliary verbs fulfil the functions of main verbs (in terms of syntactic form and pattern) and have a NP or complement clause as their subject (complements clauses within negation are introduced</p><p>
