Description

Majungasaurus was a medium-sized theropod that typically reached 5.6 - 7 m in length and weighed 750 - 1100 kg. Fragmentary remains of larger individuals indicate that some adults could have been similar in size to its relative Carnotaurus, possibly exceeding 8 m in length.
