<p>Furthermore, Grierson in his famed <a href="page.php?w=Linguistic_Survey_of_India">Linguistic Survey of India</a> mentioned that the Odia script is sometimes used for <a href="page.php?w=Chhattisgarhi_language">Chhattisgarhi</a>, an <a href="page.php?w=Eastern_Hindi_language">Eastern Hindi language</a>, in the eastern border regions of <a href="page.php?w=Chhattisgarh">Chhattisgarh</a>. However it appears to have been replaced with the <a href="page.php?w=Devanagari_script">Devanagari script</a>.</p>
