<p>However, the need for a common language of communication for Slavs was still felt, and due to the influence of constructed languages like <a href="page.php?w=Esperanto">Esperanto</a>, efforts were made to create a language that was no longer supposed to replace the individual Slavic languages, but to serve as an additional second language for pan-Slavic communication.</p>
