Frederick Wheeler's Terraces

At the end of the 19th Century the heart of the old heart of the village of Streatham was sweepingly remodelled to the architectural designs of the young local architect Frederick Wheeler FRIBA, creating the streetscape which remains to this day.Between 1884 and 1891 a comprehensive scheme of four-storey, Queen Anne Revival style shop houses was designed
