<p>Fracture is largely determined by the fracture toughness (), so fracture testing is often done to determine this. The two most widely used techniques for determining fracture toughness are the <a href="page.php?w=three-point_flexural_test">three-point flexural test</a> and the <a href="page.php?w=compact_tension_specimen">compact tension</a> test.</p>
