(Wild Sour Pomegranate). Daru grows naturally in the vast tract of mid Himalayan hill slopes of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Climate

In winter, the temperature can drop near to freezing point. In summer cotton clothes are recommended.
