<p>(Promerops cafer) is found exclusively in southwestern South Africa and is therefore said to be <b><i>endemic</i></b> to that particular part of the <a href="page.php?w=world">world</a>. An endemic species can also be referred to as an endemism or, in <a href="page.php?w=scientific_literature">scientific literature</a>, as an <b><i>endemite</i></b>.</p>
