<p>Overhangs are also common in medieval <a href="page.php?w=Indian_architecture">Indian architecture</a>--especially <a href="page.php?w=Mughal_architecture">Mughal architecture</a> of the 16th-18th century, where they are called <a href="page.php?w=chhajja">chhajja</a>, often supported by ornate <a href="page.php?w=corbel">corbel</a>s and also seen in <a href="page.php?w=Hindu_temple_architecture">Hindu temple architecture</a>.</p><p>
