The <a href="page.php?w=WYSIWYG">WYSIWYG</a> program was envisioned as a composer's <a href="page.php?w=amanuensis">amanuensis</a>, but as it was an experimental program it never reached beyond PARC, though it influenced commercial programs which soon followed.</p>
