<p>Like much of the <a href="page.php?w=Massachusetts">Massachusetts</a> landscape, the peninsula was shaped by <a href="page.php?w=glacial_erosion">glacial erosion</a> and <a href="page.php?w=Glacial_moraine">moraine deposits</a> left by retreating glaciers at the end of the last <a href="page.php?w=ice_age">ice age</a>.
