FM synthesis created brighter, glassier sounds, and could better imitate acoustic sounds such as brass and bells. Yamaha licensed the technology to create the DX7, combining it with <a href="page.php?w=very-large-scale_integration">very-large-scale integration</a> chips to lower manufacturing</p><p>
