This can be dated back to the <a href="page.php?w=ancient_Greek">ancient Greek</a> astronomer <a href="page.php?w=Hipparchus">Hipparchus</a>, who around 190 BC used the catalogue of his predecessors <a href="page.php?w=Timocharis">Timocharis</a> and <a href="page.php?w=Aristillus">Aristillus</a> to discover Earth's <a href="page.php?w=precession">precession</a>.</p><p>
