The lacrimal gland produces tears which are secreted by the lacrimal ducts, and flow over the ocular surface, and then into canals that connect to the <a href="page.php?w=lacrimal_sac">lacrimal sac</a>. From that sac, the tears drain through the <a href="page.php?w=Nasolacrimal_duct">lacrimal duct</a> into the nose.</p>
