<p>Semantic memory and episodic memory are both types of <a href="page.php?w=explicit_memory">explicit memory (or declarative memory)</a>, or memory of facts or events that can be consciously recalled and "declared". The counterpart to declarative or explicit memory is <a href="page.php?w=implicit_memory">implicit memory</a></p><p>
