<p><big>Production</big></p>
<p>Suede leather is made from the underside of the skin, primarily from <a href="page.php?w=domestic_sheep">lamb</a>, although <a href="page.php?w=goat">goat</a>, <a href="page.php?w=calfskin">calf</a>, and <a href="page.php?w=deer">deer</a> are commonly used. Splits from thick hides of cow and deer are also sueded, but, due to the fiber content, have a shaggy <a href="page.php?w=Nap_%28fabric%29">nap</a>.</p>
