<p><big>Structure</big></p>
<p>The transverse sinuses are of large size and begin at the <a href="page.php?w=internal_occipital_protuberance">internal occipital protuberance</a>; one, generally the right, being the direct continuation of the <a href="page.php?w=superior_sagittal_sinus">superior sagittal sinus</a>, the other of the <a href="page.php?w=straight_sinus">straight sinus</a>.</p><p>
