Nucleons

The masses of the proton and neutron are known with far greater precision in daltons (Da) than in MeV/c² due to the way in which these are defined. The conversion factor used is 1 Da = . At least 10³⁵ years. See proton decay. For free neutrons; in most common nuclei, neutrons are stable.

The masses of their antiparticles are assumed to be identical, and no experiments
