<p>for instance, Gonzago, the king, is murdered in the garden by his nephew, Lucianus; although King Hamlet is murdered by his brother, in The Murder of Gonzago--which Hamlet tauntingly calls "The Mousetrap" when Claudius asks "What do you call the play?"--the <a href="page.php?w=regicide">regicide</a> is a nephew, like Prince Hamlet. However, it is also worth noting that each of the characters in the play-within-a-play maps to two major characters in Hamlet, an instance of the play's many doubles:<br/>
