Camelids also have true <a href="page.php?w=canine_teeth">canine teeth</a> and tusk-like <a href="page.php?w=premolars">premolars</a>, which are separated from the <a href="page.php?w=molars">molars</a> by a gap. As in ruminants, the upper incisors are largely absent and are replaced by a <a href="page.php?w=dental_pad">dental pad</a></p><p>
