In the field of audio and general purpose amplifiers, especially <a href="page.php?w=operational_amplifier">operational amplifier</a>s, the term usually refers to voltage gain,  but in <a href="page.php?w=radio_frequency">radio frequency</a> amplifiers</p><p>
