Gusinje is on the Vermosh River, which flows eastwards towards Plav. About 2 km south of Gusinje's center is the source of Vruja creek, Ali Pasha's springs (Alipasini izvori/Krojet e Ali Pashës). Vruja creek enters the Vermosh east of town, between this confluence
