<p>Prominent karstic features within the Mountains include the Chiquibul Spring and Cave System, the Vaca Plateau, the Southern and Northern Boundary Faults, and possibly an <a href="page.php?w=aquifer">aquifer</a> contiguous with that of the Yucatán Peninsula.</p>
