<p>Victor Ambartsumian first categorized stellar associations into two groups, OB and T, based on the properties of their stars. A third category, R, was later suggested by <a href="page.php?w=Sidney_van_den_Bergh">Sidney van den Bergh</a> for associations that illuminate <a href="page.php?w=reflection_nebula">reflection nebula</a>e.</p>
