<p>The Welch method is based on <a href="page.php?w=Bartlett%27s_method">Bartlett's method</a> and differs in two ways:<br/>
# The signal is split up into overlapping segments: the original data segment is split up into L data segments of length M, overlapping by D points.<br/>
