<p> Built in 1937, it was a 65 ft <a href="page.php?w=pear">pear</a>-shaped tower.  It was essentially unused after World War&nbsp;II, and the main structure was laid on its side in 2015.  In 1985, it was named an Electrical Engineering Milestone by the <a href="page.php?w=Institute_of_Electrical_and_Electronics_Engineers">Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers</a>.</p>
