<p>The <a href="page.php?w=leaf">leaves</a> are <a href="page.php?w=evergreen">evergreen</a>, opposite, simple, usually slightly rough-surfaced, 2-8&nbsp;cm long. In a few species (notably C. ladanifer), the leaves are coated with a highly aromatic <a href="page.php?w=resin">resin</a> called <a href="page.php?w=labdanum">labdanum</a>. </p>
