The cube is the special case of a parallelepiped for having the most symmetric form, generated by three perpendicular unit-length line segments. In three-dimensional space, the cubic honeycomb is the only proper regular space-filling tessellation. It is <a href="page.php?w=self-dual">self-dual</a>.</p>
